We had a lovely stay during Japan national holiday.

Booked a room with great views of the garden. The facilities were great and the beds were exceptionally comfortable.

We got great value for our money - the room was cozy and authentic to Kyoto, overlooking a lovely garden. The location was perfect, with historic temples and charming shops nearby. The staff were really helpful and friendly, making our stay even better.

The breakfast selection could have been better, with more options to choose from.

Location: the hotel was close enough to the surrounding areas and a famous cemetery and the nearest subway station which connects with Kyoto main station and other sights to see. Dined at Sushi Wakon, it was around 10-15 minutes walk from the venue...

The hotel is conveniently located near the subway station, making it easy to explore Kyoto and neighboring areas. It is also close to Sushi Wakon, a great spot for a delicious lunch.

I had a great stay at a traditional Japanese-style room with a beautiful view of the garden. The location was also perfect, close to famous temples and shrines. The room was clean and had all the necessary facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful in making my stay comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is managed by friendly staff, and the rooms are spacious with beautiful Japanese decor. the location is excellent, just a short walk from Sanjusangendo Temple. It is situated in a nice quiet area, close to the subway station, making it convenient to visit other attractions like Kyoto main station and Kiyomizu-dera temple.

The staff at Kyomachiya Hotel Mifuku were incredibly friendly and helpful. They made us feel welcome and assisted us with any requests or questions we had throughout our stay. The apartment itself was cozy and comfortable, with effective heating and beautiful hot showers. The clean linen and cozy beds ensured a restful sleep.

Secondly, the attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the hotel. From the beautifully designed rooms with heated mattresses and tatami on the mezzanine floor, to the lovely garden that created a serene atmosphere. Lastly, the location of the hotel was perfect. Situated on a side street that heads straight to Kiyomizu-dera, one of the famous tourist attractions in the area. It was convenient and easy to explore the old Kyoto city from this hotel.

All aspects of my stay at this hotel were absolutely fine.

We had a great time at this family-friendly hotel. There are lots of restaurants nearby, such as Meli-melo, which is just a short walk away.

The beds were super comfy and the guesthouse was really quiet - perfect for a relaxing stay. the staff were really helpful and even provided adapter plugs when we needed them. Plus, the afternoon restocking of amenities meant we always had what we needed.

The location wasn't great. There weren't many restaurants or bars nearby, so we had to venture further afield for food and drink.

Spent our Xmas and had a blast sleeping on the tatami mats! Cute little apartment and the facilities were handy for our family of four. The key location was great, as we were only a few minutes away from the Gion district and Kiyomizudera temple. We loved the little touches, such as the good quality toiletries and the helpful map the owner provided. , the coffee machine was a great addition!

The location is quite unique, as we realized it was surrounded by a cemetery. It's not a problem if you don't mind this!
